Table and column usage

Metaplane analyzes your query history to determine how often tables/views, and columns within those tables/views, are being queried. These usage analytics drill down to the role and user, so you know who is using what data, and when.

The goal is to support three use cases:

Helping prioritize work, whether it is refactoring frequently used models or deleting unused models
Monitoring usage on tables over time
Suggesting monitors on highly used tables

For a deeper dive into queries and users per table, you can access the Usage report by clicking the Connection. Then in the Usage Analytics card, at the bottom right, click See Results.

This allows you to see usage reports. Here you will see the tables within your database ordered by how many times they have been queried.
