Metaplane Chrome Extension

Metaplane's Chrome extension ensures that everyone on your team has helpful context about the quality and freshness of the data they're working on—even when outside of Metaplane. It's a great fit for data analysts or business stakeholders who want to view the status of the data they're currently interacting with, without having to navigate the full Metaplane interface.

Metaplane's extension provides several useful pieces of information:

• An overall status of the data upstream of the BI object (when viewing a BI tool) or table (when viewing the Snowflake console) you're viewing, including any active incidents.
• Freshness information about any tables upstream of the BI object or table you're viewing.
• A summary of the lineage that flows into the BI object or table you're viewing.
